the sea slowly floods,
covering the mystery
with saltwater healing.

the slow relief of grace,

Thanks, Don — I don’t know exactly what you refer to in this beautiful piece, and don’t need to. I just want to say that I resonate with the timing. I, too, have felt a turn in the tide, and that it has brought me an opportunity to rest and re-align. And while this tide has manifested in our personal lives in the way it has, it seems to me that it is a tide moving through the entire planet.

Invariably, Don, words of yours kindle thoughts of mine! Now, I sense the deepest ‘pain of loss’ in humankind as a whole is patently revealed in the ‘pandemic’ levels of Loneliness that billions of individuals experience worldwide. My own experience of rising from that vacuously lonely Heart space (filled solely of longings) to a state of Grace-filled relief and solace insisted that I accept Myself as my own Best Friend, the one ‘closer than’ (yet including) ‘hands and feet’! A quiet Sea of Healing rises in Me & Mine when I’m at rest.
