Sunlight on a wind blessed sea,
the earth green and alive
in the ritual of everyday beauty.
I practice silence
with deep rooted trees,
letting gravity of the timeless
draw me within
to the palace of the eternal.
Ancient ones greet my presence,
scrolls of my story lying in wait.
I visit with the unforgiven
to heal the wounds of time,
find joy with loved ones
who’ve gone before.
Awakening my heart
to the mystery of birth,
I play in the fields of angels,
make peace with the gods,
then rise to earth’s surface
where sunlight plays
on a wind blessed sea.
Reading of “Wind Blessed Sea” with music by Vince Guaraldi Trio
So aptly you as a Godman verbally move this consortium of Angels into the triage and then dance captured by Vince and trio.
All is brought to remembrance as the Fire burns bright and freedom looms large.
Blessings to All.
“I practice silence with deep rooted trees.” Very nice, Don!
Beautiful, Don! With gratitude.
Don — For me, your profound words here are strikingly akin to those of an aging Druid sage who dared, while he could, to describe his witness of Oneness with an “ageless” Tree to a distracted youth who deigned to listen and learn for a minute. That youth was Me 65 years ago. And Now, I’m one who bears witness of Oneness to any of the Young or Old who choose to listen — while I can.
Don, I love this mystical poem which soars to the heavens, and dips below earth’s surface. Thank you.
