Quietly he gathers attention
to the still point within,
a candle flame brightening
the inner sanctuary
where life force pulses.

His roots of awareness
drink deeply of the sacred,
as prayers for peace
suffuse the sentient world
turning now to greet
the new earth dawn.

  1. Don, I like your steady attention to the sacred. I am glad you go to it even though our lawyer acquaintances are so removed from it. Keep working on them.

  2. Don — You write and sing and speak, in this poem, on behalf of us all, and I join this chorus of voices sounding as One Voice in the sanctuary. “Return unto me and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of Hosts.” And the promise is being fulfilled now.

  3. If Facebook is correct…Happy Birthday Don!!! May the good times and good wishes roll in!!
    (Mine’s on fb!!)

  4. Still Point is perfect for silently making space for what is coming through.
I’m sensing that these days precede times of great change within and without. It is also the place of bringing forth those changes.

  5. A birth of the most sacred culminating in unified ascension .
I am so grateful to behold you and others holding that flame in eternal Love for all.

  6. Who is He? He is my ever trusted Inner Intercessor imbuing anew the still point in my sacred sojourn Here, Today of All Days. Praise Be Raised!

  7. Contained within the still point is the awareness of the sacredness of the earth and all of its inhabitants, a reverence for life. Thank you Don.
