Ebbing seas weave between islands
in stone valleys of ancient quiet;
gnarled trees reach for light,
stillness spreads on the rugged shore.
I sip the sea’s calm peace,
breathe in the cool salt air,
with earth on the autumn path
of letting go and renewal.
Friendships wax and wane,
tides rise and fall away,
yet in my soul’s deepest core
the one love lives unchanging.
Reading of “One Love” with music by B.B. King
Love is All … All is Love … forever and forever, Love my neighbour as my Self
Don — Beautiful poem this glorious Sunday morning. Thank you for this. To quote the Beatles: “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
Don, reading this in Central Park with Nancy today. Friendships wane? Probably your lawyers after the checks cleared.
My feelings exactly. Winter’s a’ comin’ !
