The moon grows full
shining on the bay a soft light
that speaks of woman,
the night alive
with the power
of distant stars.
Life is quickening
though chaos too often
obscures the miracle.
Stay on your spirit horse,
this ride will take us far,
healing old stories
with the grace of forgiveness,
while across the land
and abroad the sea
the majesty of the sacred.
Reading of “Majesty of the Sacred” with music by Bob Dylan
Thanks, Don for the reminder of the ever present power and majesty of forgiveness and grace.
Don, finally, I am noticing how often you write about forgiveness, an act this contentious time sure could use. Thank you for today’s poem.
Thank you Don, love the reminder to stay on our spirit horses riding consciously in grace and forgiveness.

Yep….I am staying on the spirit horse, for sure!
Don — You’re hitting way above .400 in my book! I love this one. “Stay on your spirit horse!” Even Figel is grateful for today’s poem. I am too. Mike
Don,
Nicely done, and very evocative. Thanks for this!
THIS for sure…”Life is quickening
though chaos too often
obscures the miracle.”
Helps to develop a long view of Life and not caught up in freeze framing the moment of chaos. Life is the way through.
