Faith is tangible
like mineral or light form,
a quality determined
by the flow of longing
to lift beyond the finite.

To bring down the wealth
of dawn from the mountain,
starlight as it follows the sea,
a magical something
within the spirit
that becomes the flesh
of compassion.

  1. I am reminded that a pastor of a rural Georgia church once said that, “Faith has more to do with the courage to trust than with knowledge.”

He was speaking theologically, but I see it being true interpersonal relationships and even relationships with objects, i.e. a sailors faith in his boat.

  2. Through spirit alone there is breath and beauty to these forms, the arc a wondrous connection in all the world…….Just magnificent, Don! Thank you………

  3. …keeping the faith starlit in it’s everessential flow, yes! holding steady in this hour of unfolding history tests our mettle.
