Midnight Blue

Color is her gift to us

lifting from the dream

dark sleep of winter

a bright orange promise

from ancient cities

below the sea

to the unborn waiting

in the midnight blue

of her future.

I love this one, Don! It is all image and depth, reflection and suggestion, past and future, below and above, compression and expression!

I wrote a poem yesterday, too, which I hadn’t done since last solstice.

Colorful, reminescent & evocative… as evidenced by Sandy’s dream poem. White is my color now… the Snowy Owl & White Spirit Bear whites. While not pure as a color sample, they are holding all the colors of Her universe. Thanks to you both.

Don…sometimes you imagery takes my breath away…literally.

  4. Lloyd Meeker says:

Turning wheel, like the water wheel of a mill moving in a great arc…
    Thanks, Don

Thailand’s environment is so complete a growing season, this “season” of life you beautifully embrace is contained in a Thailand hour! All the colors, all the actions from birth to decay, happening before one’s eyes.

Orion is directly overhead in the Thailand sky nightly, and conjunctions of planets with moon now seem commonplace.
