For the New Year

The year turns over,
some inner gear clicks
and the limp lessens
balanced by the faces
of love and grief
melding into light,
shining through
winter cold on seeds
of years to come,
blessing the unseen
as stories to be told
while the deep earth
awaits in silence.

” shining through winter cold on seeds of years to come ” This reminds me of the pregnant state of winter in her season .. awaiting the arrival of new births in spring. How blessed we are to know the delight of co creating with nature, and moving with her cycles. Thank You Don!
