Spirit Wing

Crow flies by the window,
his shadow tracing
the pale yellow wall
with a faint outline
marking flight,
calling for his spirit wing
and passing presence
to be remembered
for just one moment.

So many loved ones going to the next world these days, it seems. I think we are just at that age to begin to understand the full meaning of it. Thank you for your gentle poem of passing.

A dear friend of mine has passed on to a world of rest, providing
of his sweet nature in another form.
The calling for his spirit wing, and the ending of his presence here, was noted.
The Rabbi sobbed,I sobbed. He was deeply remembered in that moment, and for the 7 days thereafter, as we helped his family gently find their ease.
You have encapsulated the moment so beautifully. This is how the mind and heat come to that point of peace. Thank you so sincerely
