The moon in pale brilliance
tempers the summer sea,
the blessed land in silent prayer,
the lilting breath of all that lives.

Upon the altar of the heart,
stripped of conflict,
the world resplendent
in naked radiance.

This night, crafted for song,
lifts praise to the sky,
as benedictions of the living
bathe the earth in light.
