Never so bright
as after storms,
sun like fire on the sea,
ablaze with the truth
of earth made whole
again and again,
to the delight
of unseen gods.

  1. Your words here, Don, and the bright essences they evoke, remind me of a psalm that David of olde wrote, as he beheld “the light of the morning, when the sun shineth, even a morning without clouds, as the tender grass springeth out of the earth, by clear shining after the rain.” That morning light, ablaze with Truth that inevitably dawns after storms of darkness, makes my tender-at-times experience whole again and again. Thank You, Friend, for voicing that timely reminder.

  2. It is good to remember in stormy times that in time the bright light of the Sun will prevail. Thanks, Don.
