On silent feet
the future creeps forward,
hidden in the folds
of the everyday,
until one morning
the old man
you expected,
with his wrinkled smile
and burden of grief,
arrives to greet you
in the mirror.

Reading of “Old Man.”
Too close to home Don! As my Dad always said, “it beats the alternative”!
Don, clever and true. Good thing the old guy arrives with friends, family and a couple of poems. – Love, Tom
Looking pretty good for an old man Don!
