Our One Desire

Gaia sends her signals from deep within
tremors of neglect shaking her wounded body,
asking for help in so many ways
yet only drama compels attention
in these days of Narcissus.
She is not a mechanism for study
nor a faulty watch we can replace.
Is it possible the beauty she gives
is intended for us, to soften our hearts
and release our spring color?
Like Aladdin we possess a magic gift
to create from the wellspring of our hearts.
How would it be today if our one wish,
our one desire was for her?

Beautiful, Don. Gaia better be more Humanity’s Beloved…a recipient of our attention, our care, our love…or there will be increasing hell to pay.

  2. Maria Frid says:

It is from the wellspring of our hearts that we know & love Gaia. I believe beauty is experienced emotionally. If only a small crevice of our heart is open than it is hard to comprehend the power & eloquence of her generous gifts.

  3. Allen Guisinger says:

I know that man’s true purpose on Earth is to represent the Creator in appreciating, loving and caring for this magnificent vessel given to us. How far we have fallen, but, thankfully, that awareness still burns in a faint glimmer giving yet some hope for salvation. Your words reflect the existence of that light.

  4. Terry Stoupa says:

Our “GIFT” contradicts human nature; that is, to be in willing submission to our Creator. Only then can our creative response have the magic we desire.
